District 35-I "The Right One"

Governor's Achievement Award for Transfer Lions

OBJECTIVES: This award is designed to assist the NEW LION member to become thoroughly familiar and fully involved in the activities and purposes of Lionism.

ELIGIBILITY: This award is available only to NEW members in their first year of membership, beginning with induction. The sponsoring Lion is responsible for assisting the new member in the pursuit of their requirements. The club membership director should secure the completed forms for certification by the clubs board of directors who, after their approval, shall send the form to the district chairperson.

EACH OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY:
(MUST COMPLETE 9 OUT OF THE 10)
1. Visit the Conklin Center OR attend a lecture on the center from a representative of the Conklin Center.
2. Attend two board of directors meetings for your club.
3. Attend a Zone meeting.
4. Participate actively in two Club projects.
5. Attend two other club meetings OR the MD-35 Convention
6 Recruit one (1) new member.
7. Visit Southeastern Guide Dog OR attend a Council Conference.
8. Attend 75% or better of regular club meetings.
9. Attend one district cabinet meeting OR eye bank meeting.
10 Visit the Florida Lions Camp OR attend a lecture on the camp from a camp representative..


The sponsoring Lion will date and initial each item of achievement as accomplished and secure certification by the club secretary.
