  • District Governor Andrew Became a Lion in 1990 as a member of the Bradenton Lions Club
  • Transferred to the Tampa Downtown Lions Club in the fall of 1990 and has been a member there since
  • Has served as 3rd, 2nd, and 1st Vice President and as President of his Lions Club
  • Sight Chair and Chaplain and was active in all club projects
  • Currently serves as Club Chaplain and is a member of the “Ye Notorious Krewe of Roaring Lions”
  • Has served as Zone Chair 2002-2003, 2010-2011 and as Region Chair 2011-2012
  • Has served as District and Multiple District Bench Program Chair from 2009-2013
  • Has served as Peace Poster Chair for the Host Committee of the 2012 USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum held in Tampa
  • Has served as 2nd Vice District Governor and 1st Vice District Governor for District 35-I
  • DG Andrew is a Certified Guiding Lion
  • Florida Diabetes Awareness Foundation Life Member
  • Florida Lions Foundation Grand Lion
  • Received the following awards:
    • Governor’s Achievement Award
    • Lion of the Year for his Lions Club
    • 2nd Vice District Governor's Medal of Excellence
    • International President’s Certificate of Appreciation
    • International President’s Leadership Medal
    • Melvin Jones Fellow
